  • BATHING

    Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that reduce the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning.     Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We recognize that behavioural problems can be frustrating for pet owners. We are well equipped to provide advice to help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

  • BLOOD TRANSFUSION

    We maintain a supply of blood for dogs in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners, and all blood is carefully screened for disease.We are able to obtain cat blood on an as needed basis also.

  • BOARDING

    Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor walks to keep them happy and active. We can also provide and special diets of treats as needed.     Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. We are also equipped to perform dental x-rays. Advanced dental care is available, including root canals.

  • EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE

    In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our mobile resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions.   • ENDOSCOPY

    High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.   • LASERS

    Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.     Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.We have a new digital X-ray systrem which allows us to take unlimited images to find the one that gives the most deatils, then focus, magnify and enhance the image.     This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. Echocardiography allows us to evaluate heart chambers and valves in detail.
