This Month’s Spotlight:

Unwanted Guests….Fleas!

This month’s discussion topic is the dreaded flea! It is important that we discuss fleas as the warm, moist climate in our homes creates the perfect environment for fleas to thrive. Fleas are one of the most common parasites that are found on your pet. These parasites can be very irritating to your pet in more than one way. Initially the bite from a flea can be painful but, if left untreated, other health problems can develop such as tapeworms and anemia. There are a number of products that are very effective in killing the various life stages of the flea. Please feel free to call on our knowledgeable staff to discuss which product may be the right one for your household.
